ROASTED CAULIFLOWER

TURMERIC

AN EASY SIDE DISH!

This Turmeric Roasted Cauliflower has rich and warm flavors that aren't overpowering. It's easily cooked up in the oven and pairs well with beef, pork, or chicken. Enjoy this as a great side for you next weeknight dinner!

Ingredients: 1 head cauliflower (2-2.5 lbs) 2 tbsp oil 1 tsp kosher salt 1/4 tsp turmeric 1/4 tsp cumin 1/4 tsp paprika 1/4 tsp garlic powder

Preheat the oven to 400F. Wash & dry the cauliflower, then cut away the stem and leaves. Remove any brown spots by cutting them out with a knife.

Start breaking the cauliflower into small florets, less than 1-inch wide at the top.

Set the florets on a towel to drain off any remaining water from when they were washed.

Place the cauliflower in a large bowl and mix the spices together in a small bowl. Pour the oil and spices over the cauliflower and mix to combine.

Place the seasoned cauliflower on a sheet pan in a single layer. Cook for 15 minutes, then stir & cook for another 20 minutes.

Remove from the oven & let cool for 3 to 5 minutes, then serve!

IS ROASTED CAULI-FLOWER MUSHY?

Roasted cauliflower can get mushy if you use too much oil. Use just enough to lightly coat the florets.
