Quick & Easy Grilled Steak Burrito Bowl

This steak bowl is easy and quick to make at home—it only takes about 20 minutes! It can be made with freshly grilled flank steak (with a marinade or without) or leftover grilled steak. To build the dinner bowl, combine the grilled steak with your favorite classic burrito fillings, such as rice, shredded lettuce, salsa, and more!

Ingredients

  • 4 slices grilled flank steak see notes for directions on grilling flank steak
  • 1 cup cooked white rice
  • ¼ cup canned black beans rinsed and drained
  • ¼ cup shredded cheese
  • ½ cup shredded lettuce
  • ¼ cup pico de gallo or salsa
  • 1 tablespoon guacamole

Instructions

  • Start with the flank steak - you can eat it cold or place it in a microwavable bowl and heat it in 30 second increments until it's warmed to your liking.
  • Take out your other ingredients and start placing them in the bowl with the flank steak. Either place the largest component on the bottom (like the rice), then pile everything on top, or place everything in separate spots in the bowl. Enjoy!

  • This recipe assumes you're starting with leftover grilled steak. If not, either:
  • Buy prepackaged items like quick cooking or microwavable rice, shredded cheese, pre-sliced lettuce, and pre-made salsa and guacamole to make putting together this burrito bowl a breeze.
