Ground Chicken Burgers

IN A SKILLET

Let's show you how to cook ground chicken burgers! Made with almond flour instead of bread crumbs and using simple seasoning, they’re a delicious meal for lunch or dinner!

 - It's perfect when you want a lighter meal.  - It's easily customized - put it on a burger, on top of greens, or next to some roasted veggies!

WHY MAKE THIS DISH?

For the Patties: – 1 lb ground chicken – ¼ c almond flour – ½ tsp kosher salt (Diamond Crystal brand) – ¼ tsp garlic powder – ¼ tsp onion powder – ¼ tsp paprika – ⅛ tsp ground black pepper For the Burgers: – 1 tbsp oil avocado or other oil (for frying) – Buns or lettuce leaves – Avocado – Tomato – Cheese slices – Mayo – Mustard

INGREDIENTS

Take out a skillet and add oil to it, heating over medium heat. Measure out the ingredients for the burger patties in a large bowl.

Combine the chicken mixture then divide it into four equal portions. Form four patties with your hands, roughly 1/4 inch thick.

Wet your hands when handling the chicken mixture to avoid having it stick to your hands!

PREP TIP

- Hot Pan Kitchen

Place each chicken patty in the skillet as you make it. Don't crowd the skillet - you may need to cook them in batches.

Cook the patties on the first side for 3-4 minutes on each side, until they are browned and at an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.

Place each patty in a bun or lettuce wrap and pile it high with whatever toppings you like!
