These Sauteed Green Beans with Shallots are so delicious and easy to make. This is a healthy & simple recipe that goes perfectly with Thanksgiving dinner, or can be kept casual for a weeknight meal.

INGREDIENTS

– 2 shallots – 2 tbsp ghee (can sub butter or oil) – 12 ounces green beans, washed & trimmed – 1/2 tbsp oil avocado or olive – 1/2 tsp kosher salt

Peel the skin off the shallots then thinly slice them.

Heat the ghee (or butter) in a large non-stick pan. Add the shallots & cook over medium low for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Place the green beans in the pan and drizzle the oil and kosher salt over the top. Stir to combine.

Cover with a lid and cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally so the shallots don't burn and the beans cook evenly.

Remove from the pan and serve immediately!

Green beans go well with Thanksgiving dishes like mashed potatoes & turkey, but also with other comfort foods like meatloaf & lasagna.
