BLACKBERRY CRISP

ONE BOWL

This Blackberry Crisp recipe is super easy, made with fresh blackberries and an oat topping. Using just one bowl, it makes for easy cleanup. A perfect dessert to share!

INGREDIENTS

Filling: 24 oz blackberries 1/4 cup maple syrup 1 tsp arrowroot powder

Topping:  1.5 cup rolled oats 1/3 cup fine almond flour 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon 1/4 cup maple syrup 1/3 cup melted butter

Combine the topping ingredients in a large bowl & stir until well mixed. Set aside.

Place the blackberries in an 8x8 baking dish. Sprinkle the arrowroot powder on top & pour maple syrup over. Mix to combine.

Pour the crumble topping over the blackberry mixture in an even layer.

Smooth the topping out with a spoon, then place the dish in the oven to bake for 60 minutes.

Remove from the oven & let cool for 5-10 minutes, then serve with a scoop of ice cream!

Yes, because it has butter in the topping, this blackberry crisp should be kept in an airtight container in the fridge.
